Fun Fact: I have the worst no sense of direction.

I was born and raised in the Metro-Detroit area, the third child of four. For as long as I can remember, I had a strong ambition to overachieve and the competitive will to do so. Naturally, I went to the best university I could find (Go Blue!), graduated early with two bachelors, worked two years as a copywriter, and built a marketing department for a hospital from ground up by the age of 24.

I quickly realized my life to that point was earning trophies to tell me who I am and to prove to myself that I was worthy of love. This stopping point invited me on journey with the Lord where I brought nothing with me except two questions: “Who am I?” and “Am I worthy of love?” My world flipped upside-down when God redefined identity and love for me through his son, Jesus. Spoiler alert: It had nothing to do with my efforts!

I earned an M.A. in Christian Formation and Ministry, with a concentration in Bible, Theology, and Ministry at Wheaton College Graduate School. My passion is to discover what the Bible reveals about identity and love, and how these truths can heal and form individuals back into wholeness.
